Donations of food can be made at libraries, most Buxton supermarkets and churches, The Source Café, Barclays Bank (Buxton) or dropped off at the United Reformed Church, Hardwick Square East, Buxton SK17 6PT between 4pm and 5.30pm or by prior arrangement, please telephone 01298 214926.

Food we always need includes: UHT milk; tins of vegetables, meat, fish, tomatoes, puddings and fruit; pasta sauce; rice; biscuits; breakfast cereals; shrink wrap beetroot; dried potato; packet soups; just add water meals; tea; coffee; dried puddings and baby food/milk. Fresh fruit, vegetables and bread can only be donated direct to the foodbank, ring 01298 214926.

We also need: toiletries, toilet roll, deodorant, shampoo, soap, nappies, baby wipes, household cleaning products etc.

We keep a small amount of bedding, due to limited storage, please ring before donating: 01298 214926.

Employers - We can design a programme to assess commitment, work skills, time-keeping etc. for your vacancy candidates. Programmes typically last 1-6 weeks and enable you to check out the suitability of potential employees and give them some training and work experience before you commit to employing them.
